November 2025

As we gather together in this season of Thanksgiving, we open our hearts and minds to the abundance of blessings that surround us. We are filled with gratitude for the gifts of life, love, and abundance that have been bestowed upon us. Below are messages and prayers used by your Unity Church of Bon Air prayer chaplains for November 2025 as they made their monthly contacts. Use them in your daily prayer and meditation time and enjoy!

We give thanks for the beauty of nature, and appreciate the warmth of family and friends, and the love that binds us together.

With thankful hearts, we embrace the opportunity to reflect on our blessings and share our abundance with those in need. We are grateful for the nourishment of both body and soul.

We are thankful for the moments of laughter and joy, for the challenges that have made us stronger, and for the opportunity to learn and grow.

In this season of Thanksgiving, we affirm our gratitude for the abundance of life, the richness of love, and the opportunity to give back to communities.

Dear Divine spirit. We are grateful for these blessings and the grace of Thanksgiving. May we carry the spirit of gratitude with us always and continue to share our abundance with the world. We are grateful and so it is amen.

With Love,
~ Allison Strickland

I breathe in the Divine and breathe out the Divine. I fill myself up with the Divine therefore I am filled with Love. A Love so powerful it can remove all resistance, and all fear. I am at peace knowing God is always with me.

Even if the outside world is chaotic I am at peace within. I imagine being cradled in the arms of peace and love; rocked to sleep like a new born babe. I release my peace out into the world. World peace begins with me.

I speak kind words, I show compassion. I ask what is mine to do? I listen for the answer that comes from the Divine. When the answer comes I put Love and peace into action!!!

I affirm I am a living, breathing expression of God. And through the Christ it is so.

Peace and Joy,
~ Barbie Nunnally

Thanksgiving Day has come and gone, but every day we have a lot to be grateful for! Heavenly rain and sunshine upon us, forming a rainbow of vibrant colors of red, orange, yellow, blue, purple. We are grateful for the beauty of color. We observe leaves falling from the tree branch effortlessly floating and dancing with the breeze. We are grateful for the example of non-resistance!

Trees represent our personal growth, wisdom, uniqueness, beauty and strength. Just like the branches of a tree strengthen and grow upward to the light, we do too. We grow stronger, strive for knowledge, and new experiences as we journey through life. We are grateful!

Ever changing puffy clouds are floating in a pale blue sky. We are grateful to use our divine imagination visualizing the clouds forming familiar objects before our eyes. Gratitude fills the heart with joy, heals the weary soul, and reminds us of the presence of God.

We are so grateful for the beauty of nature.

Love and peace,
~ Barbie Nunnally

As we approach Thanksgiving, my prayer for you is that you have a gratitude practice which allows you to live in a consciousness of Thanksgiving and that you find joy in the simplest and the greatest of things in your life. Simple things like a bird singing, a child laughing, a warm cozy blanket on a cool evening, the smell of yummy food cooking, and things that make you laugh.

There are countless things, situations, and people to be thankful for in our lives. Perhaps stop reading right now and think of 3 things you are grateful for. We thank Source; the amazing Creator and Giver of Divine Life and Divine Love.

Be in a comfortable position; take a few deep cleansing belly breaths, and affirm:
I am grateful. I wake up each day grateful for another day. I go to sleep each evening grateful for all the ways I am blessed. Throughout my day I am conscious to notice and experience life and my surroundings and say, Thank You! I am lifted by gratitude, and my life increases in bountiful, joyful, prosperous, and wonderful ways. And so it is.

I am grateful for you and the power of prayer and the gift of being able to share it with you. Happy Thanksgiving!

Peace love joy AND gratitude!
